Workcamp Wikipedia for Peace August 2022

In August, a "Wikipedia for Peace" workcamp has taken place on Mont-Soleil in Switzerland. The participants from seven countries have been editing articles to Wikipedia about journalists and organisation advocating for freedom of speech.

At the weekend, they came to visit the SCI Archives in nearby La Chaux-de-Fonds. Heinz Gabathuler gave the guests an introduction to the history of SCI and showed different objects from the archives. With Anne Babey, a local SCI activist, they also had a small guided tour through the town which - apart from hosting the SCI Achives - is rich in history and architecture.
