100 years of SCI in Switzerland

Throughout 2024, SCI Switzerland is celebrating the 100 years of the first two international voluntary services which took place between August and December 1924 in Les Ormonts (Vaud) and in Someo (Ticino), organised by Pierre Ceresole and his friends.

In this context, we are proud to announce that a small exhibition has recently been opened in Bern in the public library Kornhausbibliothek. The exhibits are all from SCI International Archives and cover the last one hundred years of SCI activity in Switzerland. Later in the year, similar exhibitions will be shown in Locarno and in Zurich.
