Quite often SCI Archives receives photos, that cannot be identified. This the case with the this photos, which show volunteers working in the surroundings of a new building. The only information available so far is, that the photos are from Poland. The pictures shows a flavour of the 60s.
Usually the offical list of SCI workcamps is an indispensable help to identify. By the method of elimnation, we guess that it the workcamp ZIELONA GÓRA in 1961 and more likely in 1964 as the work seems quite finished. The work was construction work of the new Jurij-Gagarin-school. This service was organised byZwiązek Młodzieży Socjalistycznej (ZMS) [Polish socialist youth association], the Bureau international pour le tourisme et les échanges de la jeunesse (BITEJ) and SCI France.
